I recommend replacing all hose clamps with the proper OEM clamps, they're designed to apply even pressure around the circumference and won't dig into the outer surface of the hose.Next to come off was the water pump and water pump housing. Incase anyone else is using this thread as an example we drained the coolant and oil before hand, but there may still be little coolant in the water pump housing so watch out for that! As you can see in the pics below there are I believe five nuts for the water pump and I want to say at least 6-7 bolts for the housing. (That second picture is me taking off the housing by the way.)

Are you going full on, take to machine shop, magnflux and clean and rebuild from there?
Any chance the boys can be around during the testing? It's kind of interesting to see. I was in my first engineering position before I had an opportunity to see it done.
