Pulled off the cluster, it wasnt really doing anything... the truck came with AutoMeter Carbon Fibre Gauges (way to nice!)... soo I'm using them!

Also added the center console... mainly for the cup holders ;)

If you have any other old dash items like knobs, switches or a glove box door I could use them as well. Nothing needs to work. This is for an art project I’m trying to finish and get off of my bench. Thanks!

Its been a minute since I've updated this thread. Here a couple things I've done to the 40...

Before: My clutch spring

After: Since I couldn't find a spring, I purchased a few different springs from Toyota hoping I could find a good sub/alternative. 90507-14030 worked like a charm!!

Unfortunately Toyota doesn't accept returns on parts under a couple dollars... so I have couple extra springs to play with...

The dash pad also needed an update... The aftermarket pad looks more durable than the Toyota foam...so we'll see...

It's ok. Class it up, @Skitz. To-be-named is gonna keep the classiness level appropriately offset for us all. :steer:

Finally finished my gauge cluster... I waited till the speedometer came on sale.... fooker is stupid priced..

Its a GPS speedometer.. uses GPS for speed/odometer/location/time/compass/etc... way more chit than I need...

Easy hook up.. feed it 12v and connect a GPS Antenna.. no need to tie it into the drive train
