Clutch Smell (1 Viewer)

Hi There

I have a 2001 Tacoma TRD V6 Manual.
A year ago i services the clutch with Toyota new clutch , plate and bearing.

When Tacoma is driven normally no clutch smell at all.

When we try to start on an uphil or work the clutch in heavy traffic a clutch smell comes out quickly.



Pls advise where to look.

Check the clutch.......

Even under load the clutch should not have an odor, but a driver engaging the clutch partially on a hill or in traffic can cause an odor.

Where and what to check ?

Clutch has been replaced.
