This set of tires came from the local distributor, Gateway Tire. He wanted me to try them so the price was 100% right.

I seen your comments some time ago and bought some Maxxis tires to get me by on my ol’ Dodge Ram Truck. They were a good price at $158 a piece through a 4WD.com sale I am sure they’ll be a bit louder as you’ve said.....btw my son likes the looks of Maxxis to !

Yokohama MT G003 in 235/85-16
KM3 In 750-16
KM3 In 33x10.50-15
BFG KO2 285-75-17

The ones I have the most miles on are the KO3. Great tires. Quiet still after 7-8000 miles

They are a joke they are so tiny though.

2” shorter than the Maxxis. Ridiculous.

I couldn’t agree more. Then they sell it to us and PRICE it as though we are getting a MUCH LARGER TIRE ! The incredible SHRINKING PRODUCT, with the incredible INFLATED PRICE ! It’s like opening a small bag of chips only to find three chips and a bag of AIR ! Don’t get me started......

I actually have the biggest tire crush currently on the Yokahama MT G003 so I’m going To try the 285/75-16 on my FJ60

Actually, being a second marriage (20 years) we knew keeping finances separate was proper. M

Absolute “necessity” was the reasoning I used for these when working over Mrs GroundEater.... a 4WD truck with “slicks” = TROUBLE.

There clearly IS a “magnetism” of sorts (for a guy) when laying his oculars on a fine specimen of giant chunky rubber tires....( ought to conduct a study on that ! )

Bighorns come in 255/85-16 which piqued my attention.

Every run a set? These Razr are my first Maxxis

If I’m not mistaken doesn’t Maxxis carry a 235 X 85 R16 being just a tad over 9 inch width (9.22) ? I don’t know their actual height though...

Again, I don’t trust the charts on sizes until I actually see the tire.
