I bought a set of used LX450 OEM type wheels. Had them powder coated recently before mounting. I have not yet mounted the wheels and am noticing that it looks like acorn lug nuts were used by PO. Does anyone have experience running shank style correct nuts on a hub-centric wheel that has been wollered out by acorns. There is still some flat area to make contact with shank, but I’m not sure it’s enough. Photo attached.
