So I am in need of a new bumper for my 97...I really want an ARB, but have so many other pressing issues for my truck. A friend of mine has a 93 with a clean bumper they plan to give me.

When searching on here, I found some threads that state they are different. Nothing really conclusive as to what the differences are and if I can make the 93 bumper work.

What's interesting is that if you order an ARB, they are just stated to work on 1990-1997 - why wouldn't the OEM work as well?

What do you all think?

The hole spacing on the sides of the frame slightly differs. The holes in the bumper brackets can be slightly elongated to make it fit.

Is the bumper still useable again on a early model 80?
