If anyone comes across a set of keys (probably still on a black carabiner) I am missing mine. A couple of Toyota keys, some house/office keys, one Dodge key. I do have an extra ignition key so we will get home but it would be great if they turned up. I first noticed them missing off my belt loop while coming down Imogene yesterday, so they could be anywhere from camp to the trail. Please PM me if anyone finds them.

BlackBear run on Friday.

Had a great week. As usual we had a few breaks and carburator / fuel issues but everyone had an instant Mud response and issues were resolved quickly. What a great community.
Thanks to everyone for making SAS#2 a success. Already thinking about next year.

Where are the photos? You guys are slacking this year or maybe just having way too much fun to post them.

@Dirtydawg has a laptop full of awesome pics. May take a bit but the results will be amazing. As soon as we have a photo storage site established I will post a location so we can all share.

Just rolled in to home. Wound up only sleeping for a couple hours so made great time. I had a blast and met awesome people. It is like getting together with old friends even though we just met in person. Excited for next year!

Buddy the dog, along with all the Cruiser pups are always welcome. I don't know who had more fun chasing sticks and frisbees, the kids or Buddy.
Thanks for coming Patrick. It was a pleasure having both of you along.

I just got home.. ended up staying with a friend in Phoenix last night. Not sure if its the heat or what but the clutch started to slip once i got back into the 105+ degree weather. I was able to adjust the pedal and it was good to go for the rest of the drive home.. maybe a clutch replacement is in the works.
The wife and I had a really great time there. Got to meet a lot of good people and just talk about land cruisers for 95% of the time.

I plan on coming again next year, and ill get some pictures up later once the wife sorts through all of them.

Thanks again!

Sincere thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing SAS. For us it was the right balance of laid back but professional grade - and that is hard to achieve.

This includes the sponsors and the outstanding work on grill badges, stickers and shirts.

And we met a bunch fine folks.

Safe travels to all those still on the road.

If you pass thru Raton NM and need a break, give us a call: 309-361-1494
