Here is a cheap mod I’m sure some here may have done. Aluminum covers for the door lock hooks and ABS covers for the hinges. They through in two extra blue covers for some reason...

I’ve got some interior LEDs on the way. Went with a milder yellow-ish color rather than the bright white.

Well, I decided to install my front skid plate even though it doesn't have the oil change hole. There's enough room to take the oil filter from the side without removing the skid plate, so I'll go ask RockSteady to drill a hole in the front skid plate to change the oil without having to remove the skid plate.

Non kdss, right

Spacers to step it down still?

Yeah, non-kdss. The RockSteady front engine skid plate came with two small plastic 1/4" spacers to help clear the diff drop 1" spacer. I didn't get the zinc plated spacers mentioned on their web site: www.rocksteadymotorsports.com They do offer a full skid plate for KDSS.

This may be a solution. I know others have used combinations w/ skids to make oil changes easier

I'm willing to use a Fumoto drain valve, but how you access the valve when there's no oil hole on the skid plate?

Let's say you bought a Fumoto valve with a nipple, and then ran a small hose to it - Would you still be able to reach around that skid plate to open the valve?
