Finally have enough time AND money to make this long sought after event and what did I do.....Sold the Cruiser. But, hey I am a resourceful kinda guy. Soooooo I borrowed it back. All it costs me is a couple of 'tweaks'. I'm so excited to get to go to this event. Already registered, have a cabin, money's in the bank.... Yipee!!

We had our club camping trip and trail Pre-run for a few of the classic trails this weekend. We ran Little Jon, Full-size and Iceman. We are offering a good mix of trails this year from some of the hardest rock crawling trails in the country to scenic Overland fire tower tours. It’s also a very family friendly event.

Bring your rock buggies, built mini trucks/cruisers or completely stock Toyota’s. We will show you a good time.

Another month, another club run.

We checked on upper captain crunch and fruity pebbles today. Our trails are in great shape and ready to be ran for the Classic.

Trails offered are rated on a 1-6 rating with 6 generally being rock buggy hard and a 1 being a general forest road.

We have a special use permit for 3 trails this year that are closed to the public year round and are only ran during local events.

Those trails are Surprise, U-Bolt and Cheerios.

Trails being offered this year are as follows:

Southern fire tower run (2)
Northern fire tower run (2)
Lost Gulch (3)
Polo peak (3)
Calamity canyon (3+)
Dugans prospect (3)+
Iceman (4)

I'd love to make this, but piston #6 took a crap on me recently. Anyone have a lead on an early 1-FZ local-ish to Rapid?

Did some work on the southern hills overland run this weekend that will be an awesome addition to the Black Hills Cruiser Classic this year. Check out the pics, I am keeping the best views for those that join the run to see in person! Not too late to sign up for a great weekend in the hills so please join us if you can.
