Well, I just ordered the electric green engine skid plate and transfer case skid plate from RockSteadyMotorsports in San Diego. Let's see when they arrive and I install. This is the stock picture from their site. I didn't order the middle part.

Actually, it was yesterday. I bought my first GX470. I previously owned a 99 LC an 86 4x4 pick up and an 81 Trekker. Drove 7 plus hours from Tampa to Augusta. I really like her. 05 Sport, no nav and rear ac. Ashe blue and tan leather. 147k miles with good records. 3 owner FL truck. For content, I washed the bugs off this morning after driving through south Ga last night. Looking forward to doing a few thing to make her nicer/ better.

Front skid in

New wheel bearings from blue pit.

Spidertrax 1 and 1/4 spacing. The tires were rubbing front and back.

Not a huge difference but looks pretty good.

We wheeled! Dropped the wife off at the airport yesterday and swapped in a good friend as co-pilot so we tried a few harder trails. Really impressed with the GX and we didn't find anything that it wouldn't go up or down (no rocks, mostly dirt).

Had to test and see if the new end links did anything weird to the rear...

Red Feather Lakes, CO. Never got too technical but did over 100 miles off road. Was a great day great views, awesome mountains with no I-70 and very little I-25. There are harder trails but I’m just stock so kept it pretty tame.

Congrats! I felt the same way when picking mine up. Almost feel guilty turning it into a trail rig! It’s a lot of vehicle for the price point IMO.
