LX470 Buying Advice (2 Viewers)

Hey All,

Wondering people paid for their LX470’s? I’m looking for a 2004-2007 with 90-150k. I am primarily looking on the West Coast but am located in MN. Would love silver or white but would settle for another color if the price was right. Thanks in advance!

21k for a 2006 93,xxx, rust free, single owner, southern truck, always serviced at the same Lexus dealer. This was 2 months ago.

The biggest favor I did myself, was to stop being picky about the color, and first and foremost be picky about rust.

So I am about to pull the trigger on an 04 , Southern rig, with 76k Miles. No dents or scuffs on the outside... It is in great shape but has some interior issues. Is $19k reasonable? Will it be impossible to restore the leather?

The small tears in the leather are easy/cheap fixes. The front seat bottoms probably both need replacing with new leather. You're probably looking at $200-800 to replace those front seat bottoms.

I know I got an insane deal but last month, I picked up an FL 2006 mint LX w/ 124K and all Lexus maintenance done for $16.1K, oh and rust free. Even if this were $17.5Kish, it would still be a considered a good deal . You just have to be ready to pull the trigger immediately.

02 LX470 with 123k miles dealer maintained with service records. Paid 12k. Couldn’t be happier so far. Very clean inside and out.

In MN, picked up a 2005, 188K, for $13K. Initially a southern car, then South Dakota. White. That was in February.

That is a hard question to answer depending on how much you are willing to wait. I looked for about 6 months with the last 2 pretty seriously. It's an ok deal but I personally think it is too high based on what I saw, but someone might disagree.

Pricing on these is all over the place. 76k miles for $19k is very reasonable in my opinion. Does it check most of your requirements? Relatively easy to get home? If yes, I would take it at that price. I'm looking at a '04 LC with 125k miles for $17,500. It's a bit high but it checks all of the required boxes for me. Right color, relatively easy to get home, super clean inside, zero rust, and the TB/WP job was done less than 10k miles ago.
There just isn't enough of these being sold to get an accurate price comparison. Here's some numbers for reference.
Since I'm looking in the 2003 to 2007 range with under 150k miles, that's what i searched for on AutoTrader for all of the vehicles, I just changed the make and / or model. These are the number available nationwide.

4Runner - 522
Tacoma - 859
Tundra - 717
Chevy Tahoe - 756
Chevy Silverado 1500 - 2,149

LC and LX combined - 57!!!

June 2017 I bought 2004 LX with 159k miles, one owner, dealer maintained, eucalyptus mica, little bit of rust underneath in Washington DC area for about $15K.

I had been looking for almost a year, so when it came up, I pulled the trigger. That price on the LX seems reasonable to me.

I misread the milage on this one that you were looking at. Yes, $19K seems pretty decent, I would pull the trigger. If not, something comparable or better will come up. Zero rust (or very little), good maintenance, and then appearance were the order I was concerned about, but trust your gut.
