Replaced the "Destaco 341-R Pull Action Latch Clamp" for the Slee tire carrier on the bumper.
New one looks a bit nicer than the one baked in the AZ sun for 15 years . . .:).
And this one has the safety latch on it. $50.25 delivered from Kinequip.

Just got the e-brake on the t-case rebuilt with all new parts including cable... turned out good.

All new fluid in front and rear diff's.
I think that I might try and start it up tomorrow to test out the brakes!

New drum?

I have had a history of a transfer case leak (why I asked). If the drum seal surface is'st absolutely perfect it will leak. If you get drips, this worked for me. Speedy Sleeve; Page 076 Land Cruiser Parking Brake Assembly 40 Series & FJ55
Do you also predict the future...? What is the next winning lottery number, nevermind send me a PM on that one...
YES, the existing drum surface looked to be in pretty good shape but I ordered and installed the Speedy Sleeve anyway along with a new seal on the tcase. I measured the depth that it needed to be installed, pressed it on and then knocked off the lip.
Went back the next day after filling with gear oil and "no leaky"!
Great idea..., thanks!

Went to check out the rattlesnake fire, finally I break in the wind allowed some air support, looking pretty good.

I brought another one into the stable! It finally came home. Running like a champ, thanks to @murf and his crew at CBT, and @Saddletramp for being a parts-runner.

Specifics:

1986 (May 1986 build date).
Going to keep it as original as I can.
It will be a work in progress - Lots of little things (and some bigger ones) to do.
It is de-smogged with a JDM carb and distributor on the original 2F engine. Need to work on the interior now.
Will post up more when more is done.

New to me draws from an 80 adjusted to fit a 100.

Then partially bought partially custom fridge slide with tilt.

Also oil change a couple belts and something else. (That’s why I have a mechanic)
