Scary stuff on the freeway. I'm no expert, but there seems to be just a couple of things wrong here...(btw, he's not changing lanes)

Is his diff cover missing? Yikes! Seized up rear end? No skid marks yet...

Oh haha! I think it's just a shadow, but I wouldn't doubt it. That truck was a mess!

Seems as though the rear tires have no treads

Or much air.

I was thinking how much further to the left front axle is compared to the rear. Seen this before and figure in a lot of cases the vehicle was Tee boned and the springs or frame are bent.

Yeah, that is what mostly caught my eye. Flat tires, bent frame, out of alignment and who knows what else. I can't imagine that it drives very well. I'm not a big fan of state-mandated vehicle inspections, but in this case it might be for the better.

his name is Brian (not a member yet) and restores a couple of these a year as a hobby. He took the original picture and had a graphics printing company remake the original stripes. Turned out pretty cool! (I don't know the name of the graphics company though...)

^^^^ Top Gear, it was a riot:lol:

They get all the fun toys down under, compounds pushing 700hp :smokin:

Anyone do this before their last water crossing?

I use to until 1980. After that AWC became hard to find. Think it had something to do with asbestos. I notice that they didn't address the breathers in the axles, transfer case and transmission. Guess Salt water wouldn't effect those.:hmm:

:hmm: EMT?

Testing out my new Aisin locking hubs. Shovel & winch required...

The owner claimed it was real but would not stick around for me to verify. One of the most cloned muscle cars made but if true the value would be ~$250K. It did sound and look awesome and being an auto it would make it even rarer although not as desirable IMO.

With the large amount of aftermarket restoration hardware available for the first gen Camaro it would be easy to create a Yenko clone. Nice looking car though. If it were a real deal Yenko I certainly wouldn't be driving it around on the street.
