so the exhaust system im going to be using requires the factory upper cats to be reused in their standarf spot to prevent engine lights coming on, my question is since the urd y pipe ill be using removes the down stream cats are these the same between all four cats?
as i cant afford to have the car off the road, would like to buy the headers as the last piece of the exhaust and hopefully use the downstream cats to give to my mate so he can weld them in then when they are done fit them up.

URD sells an 02 simulator, which allows the removal of the rear 02 sensors, I run the Doug Thorley long tube headers, which have a bung for the front (precat) sensors. From the headers the exhaust goes thru a magnaflow x cross pipe and into dual supertrapps.

does the simulator actually work, the other option is a couple of spacers just to move the sensors out tof the exhaust flow

Been running the simulator for years, get me thru the deq inspection every time (OBDII hook-up).
