Was riding a lot until about a year ago when I moved from Northern California to the Midwest. Weather and temperatures (and work load) have put a damper on my mileage.

Here’s my ride, BMC SLR01, DuraAce, Chris King hubs, HED Belgium Wheel, 3T carbon bars and various other carbon bits.

I'm new here; it's cool to see so many cyclists. For no good reason, that sort of surprises me.

So, my dirt touring rig is the non-motorized version of my 80 series - both are designed to explore remote country for long periods of time. I can self support for a few weeks on this rig without a food re-supply. It's got more than 20L of water capacity too - dry country capable. The frame is made for loaded touring, so it rides stiff until you hang a bunch of weight on it, at which point it gets that nice steel bike feel.

First ride on my new Elephant Bikes National Forest Explorer.
I'm going to enjoy riding this thing on the forest roads up here. It rides beautifully.
Decent pedals are on order, as are bottle cages, and a Nitto M18 front rack. When Acorn bags are back in stock, I'll get a small one for up front.

I’ve got Supernova taillights on both and a Supernova E3 Pro 2 headlight I switch between the bikes.

Santa Cruz 5010v2 for me and a Tallboy 3 for the misses. And a “few” others not pictured.
