Where to get good deals on Toyota Factory Extended Warranty? (1 Viewer)

I thought the Toyota brand Platinum VSA was limited to 8/125. Those prices must be for an aftermarket brand if they go to 10 years? And, what's the per visit deductible on those quotes?

Edited to add the warranty type at the top of the post

up to the 8 year plan the prices quoted are in line or within 5% of what we were quoted. The Avalon however may be under a different table and price structure.

I really appreciate this info coming in. It's very timely in that I'm in a great debate about getting one for the Cruiser. I just bought a warranty for my wife's 2015 Volvo XC70 and it went out to 122k and I got it for $2500. That car for darn sure is getting a warranty - I just don't trust all the electronics on the Volvo, plus it becomes my airport car in 5 years. However, for $2700 for the Cruiser I'm just not sure that I shouldn't just set that aside for any potential repairs? I know this is the age old question and creates nearly endless debate.

Has anyone thought about just getting the power train extended to 100k?

For background, I'm probably at 15k/year? It's a 2015 that I got in August with 18k. It has 30k now. Then again, I plan on keeping the truck for a really long time.

I just haven't heard about major systems dying on any of these trucks so I'm really torn. Anyone else have this debate?

Here in Michigan the Toyota Platinum Vehicle Services Agreement with 8 year/125,000 miles coverage and $0 deductible on a 2017 Land Cruiser can be had for $2400. You just have to call around to find a dealer willing to work with you. The Land Cruiser is the highest cost category for the Toyota brand VSA.

They now go to 10 years 100,00 or 125,000. In the email I got from Jerry, he states that what he is quoting is for a 100 percent Toyota factory warranty good anywhere in the USA and Canada. He specifically states that he does NOT sell 3rd party warranties. I got a quote for an Avalon, so mine was lower than the Land Cruiser.

Cool, but Toyota Financial Services should update their web site info and the info they send to finance officers, because at least here in this area, everything still indicates an 8 year limit on the Platinum coverage.

Jerry's very expensive anymore, i wouldn't even consider him a player in this game.

You need to call Troy or Jennifer. I've used both. Friend just bought a 4 runner. Here's the details below, Troy was 100.00 more on each line. Granted it's not a LC or LX but the discount is substantial and should follow suit with LC.

There is alot of info/misinfo about selling extended tmc warranties on line in recent years. That said it doesn't seem to stop the traditional few that have been doing it for many many years successfully, based on volume. I've used both over the years to great success and savings. Ymmv. Good luck, call them, they'll do it over the phone, with a card, and mail you the info, tell them you found them on the LC forum/mud.

I would call both, don't leave message, call until you get them.

$100 bucks more than the above on all lines. I've used this guy the most, for no particular reason.

I figured I'd update this as I just purchased a warranty:

Jennifer Taylor at Elite Motor Mall (contact listed above) offered the 7/125k for $1820. Mention the "Land Cruiser Forum" and she'll get you that price. No issues with my location in TX.

Great service, great price.

Edit: meant to add that I called the guy in Shreveport everyone used to use as well. He said he can no longer sell ANY Toyota warranty. Lexus only.

Yes, sorry I should have specified. $0 deductible, Platinum TOYOTA Extra Care Vehicle Service Agreement.

Elite Motor Mall has Toyota and number of other dealerships on property.

Gents, I have an email into the folks listed above although thoughts on whether the Platinum Toyo Extra Care...warranty would be available for my 2010 LX570 w/ 64k miles?

I'd say with a great deal of certainty, no.

You may be able to find an outside company that would issue a warranty, however, I'd be leery.

Just wanted to post up and thank those that recommended Jennifer Taylor at Elite Motor Mall. She went way above and beyond in helping me get an amazing price on a VSA for my 200.

I can't recommend her enough. Fantastic.
I will call her and see if she can do California

Those look like some really good #'s. Was that based on brand new/0 mile vehicle or something else?

Just talked to Jennifer. Got the 6yr/125k for $1625. My local dealerships weren't even close. Attached is the VSA Platinum and what it covers.

It's listed in my post, "The vehicle must still be under original factory 3yr/36k mile warranty to qualify."
