So if the turbo was a decent brand, what's the issue with CX racing?
-Has a divorced external wastegate that dumps to atmosphere. This means raw exhaust under your truck. It will be loud and it will smell terrible, not to mention the baby polar bears.

I actually wheeled gold mountain in big bear with CX racing's owner in his 80 with the prototype. Yup he has an 80 and he drives it quite often.
We all thought that it will get hit wheeling but it didn't, granted gold mountain isn't the hardest of tails but it has its share of rocks. Air flow will be restricted but there isn't another place to put a such substantial intercooler. Just mount an electric fan and problem solved.
Personally at 5 PSI I rather not have the intercooler at all.
I don't see how that intercooler gets any air flow mounted under the bumper horizontally without any ducting. At that point you just have a heat sink.
Only information I have is don't let the monkeys at UPS handle it.
