If you are leaving from Marana I would hit Tangerine to Oracle (Highway 77). 'Bout an hour and change to Mammoth.

Do you have a ham or cb radio?

I hope to get home by 4:30 and be ready to leave by 5:30.

That puts me at the Copper Creek Road State Trust Land sign-in box by 5:40.

Of course if the forces of darkness conspire against me it could be a tad later.

I have a Stryker CB, though I am not really sure on how it all works............

Call for red steve when you hit the railroad tracks just south of mammoth and i might hear you.

Or update this post if you can when you get to Mammoth!

Also attending, two carmel apples pies, if they survive Rug Road.

I really meant the shell station/mcdonalds "usual" place. I'll wait at the chevron which I posted up. Which is only 6 minutes away. Ftbshop Lauren is at the shell in his red mini pickup covering that end.

We're leaving Scottsdale now. Bit later start. See y'all soon.

Thanks for leading the Rug Road trip @murf

This is why it is called "Carpet Hill" - note the blue carpet scrap from days of yore
