Lou and I are going to streamline the website, improving the ordering process as well as a few other things. It'll be a little more user friendly.

Thanks! PM with any questions about the HID kits, etc

I cracker the end of both filler strips months ago when I first removed my headlights and used JB WELD to reattach them.. Recently completed my fourth new OEM Retrofit which requires removing my headlights so I can align the new lights before I ship them ...well the JB Weld finally gave up
Our parts dept actually had the filler strips instock and they are off to the bodyshop for paint
It could soon be one of those parts thats unobtainable

Coming soon, installed in a pair of new OEM LX470 Headlights is the M LED from Morimoto. Word is they have the same mounting holes as the D2S.....so I have a pair headed my way to test the fit on the D2S bracket.
Cool features ....they are Instant On with zero warm up time. You don't need a relay harness as they plug right into the high and low beam connectors and the threaded mounting shaft can be removed from the projector to free up almost an inch of depth for those who don't need or want it.

Oh, this is nice. I bought the mini H1 kit and that bracket awhile back, but haven't been able to get the time to install them yet. Would love to see the results of this. May be a reason to do a run of the D2S brackets if they do actually fit. Can't wait to see the results of the install and the beam if all goes well.

Thanks!

Chris

I have decided to cut the D2S bracket and everything I've seen the M LED is comparable to the D2S. I'm currently running a Quad setup
with the D2S and the Mini H1 with 6500k blubs and 55w ballast and they are extremely bright but the simplicity of the M LED is very inviting
If M-LED fits the bracket I will start selling the bracket and also offer your choice of new OEM headlights with either the M-LED, D2S the Mini H1, a few Quad variations and also the fog light bracket will be available in this next run.

Do you think the OEM shroud will need to be trimmed for the M LED like the D2S, or are you not sure until you get it in there?

I’ll know in a few days but I’m thinking yes you will have to open up the shroud

The M-LED is the same mounting points as the Mini D2S. Since there is no bulb holder on the M-LED, you should be able to recess the projector back a little bit so eliminate trimming of the OEM shroud.

Hey Luke. Any luck with the M LED mounting options? TRS just launched their Black Friday sale, so these would be $100 off.

Thanks!

The M-Led does not fit the current D2S Bracket.
The upper mounting holes match but I use the holes that sit 1/4 below which the M-LED
doesn’t have, so I would have to re-engineer the bracket slightly and change the opening to accommodate the differences in width
Check out the picture with the bracket on the D2S..... it’ll give you a better understanding of how tight the tolerances are on the current bracket and why the M-LED will not work
You can see there’s also a difference in the overall length from the reflector bowl to the end of the lens
I’m going to sit down with my CAD guy and see if we can’t create a bracket that work for both I definitely want to build this bracket

@Luke111 When ordering the miramoto h1 stage 3 kit online should we leave all the default options or do we need to change anything (shroud, ballasts, wire harness).

@BEG pretty much has the complete list You’re not going to use the shrouds unless you want to do a quad set up. Of course you can change everything if you want I’m running 55 W ballast and 6500 bulbs in my set up

I would offer better pricing than offered during out Black Friday Sales event, however the pricing is below my cost as a wholesaler!

Please PM me if you need any help during the time. I will do my best to answer any questions.

FWIW - This will be the exact kit you should purchase if you are doing the retrofit.

I just saw your order, I'll make sure to expedite it on Monday when we get back into the office.

Thanks! I couldn't place the order without the shrouds, but it's just as well because that extra dollar got me to $300. Looking forward to receiving it. #trshundoclub
