So THATS why my 3FE is still alive! .I've heard from diesel tuners that this could be a 400 horse power engine, but who knows. I wouldn't bet on it, as my friend Sheldon says an engine has a certain amount of horsepower hours. You can either have them all now or spread them out over time.
Probably too early to ask this question but are you thinking down the road of other transmission options for this engine?

Custom flywheel housing by TorFab I assume? Which bellhousing/flywheel/clutch are you using? Looks like an AA SBC to H42/H55 bellhousing.
How much did the Cummins 2.8 kit cost? I didn't think they went on sale yet.
We are using an adapter from the Cummins to a 4L60e, then an AA bellhousing from that to an H55f. The Cummins flywheel got machined down to reduce rotational mass, and the AA flywheel also got machined down for the same reason.
Cost is unknown, it seems to be at the same price point as a new EROD kit from GM. They will go on sale in the fall, but we don't know for sure yet. We are a part of the Cummins test group for this engine, they released 25 engines to the aftermarket to get some documented installs.

But as far as emission legal, it looks like for C.A.R.B States it will be '94 and older legal. EPA States 1999 and older ?
