Found this old pic of my 2012 TTSE from 9/12 at South Lake Tahoe. We had run the eastern end of the Rubicon close to Cadillac Hill and back to the entrance. Didn't have time to do any more. This pic is on Barker Pass overlooking Homewood Ski Resort on the lower western Ca side of Lake Tahoe.

See my bud in the passenger seat? he was 10 at that time.

There was 8 toyotas in our group when we did that trail. 2 fjs. 3 80's 2 60's and a truck. The atv guys were like how in the hell did you guys make it. Theres something like 28 switchbacks in 2 miles.

A cool place, the Kaibab Plateau. It has been ecologically isolated for a long time, because of the Grand Canyon and other features that have limited animal population movement. Hence it has it own unique sub-species of mule deer, turkeys, and squirrels that have evolved locally.
