I'm going to contact Jack Rice to see if we can run Fordyce the weekend before (July 7-8-9?).
Looking good. Right now the trail is closed due to water level conditions due to the melt run off. That played a part of the date change. I have heard some are intending on doing the Rubicon on the original date, but would recommend them check with the El Dorado County website to make sure the trail is even open then. I think it likely will, but wouldn't want anyone to travel out and find out that's not the case.So what's the snow situation like currently?
Just a reminder, you only have 12 more days to get your registrations in without having to pay a late registration fee. Also, if received after the 7th, your shirts and hoodies will be mailed to you after the event.
Here is the link to the online registration: RUBITHON REGISTRATION | TLCA
You can still sign up for the event and get confirmation up until July 9th, and you can even sign up at the event, but I will not be able to answer any questions or send you a confirmation after that day.
I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day Weekend and while you’re out there enjoying your holiday, take a moment and remember those that paid the ultimate price for those freedoms!
Thanks for your time and feel free to contact me with any questions.
