Yes or no?
It sits completely flush, it's lifted in the pics because I have the plastic bag underneath so i don't scratch the hood up.
and please don't get started with the Venturi lectures.

I will be leaving that completely in tact. I will be cutting several holes around all the bracing only. Since this vent is a large piece it would cover all the holes I end up cutting.

Planning on cutting the rear side of the vent off where the logo is which will give a cleaner look and give enough room to clear the washer nozzles towards the last vent. Also going to order some flush fit washers in black for mounting. Looks like I will be cutting up the hood soon.

I'm saying NO to that swamp cooler panel in your hood. Might as well get gold teeth while you're at it.

I smile every time I see this title come up in my alerts. I think about ways to spend money on the LC every day.

LOL, if I could only afford it :hillbilly:
Hey - you haven't posted any recent updates of my your newest rig! I had no idea how much work you were planning to do to it, very impressive.

The title is still true. I was looking for a supercharger just today.

Since I moved into a new house this year I have so many projects that have priorities over the truck at the moment. :frown:
Hopefully I can get out and :steer: it before the year is over.
I still have a few things on the shelf that will be going onto the truck if time permits and when @scottryana gets off his :moon: with his turbo parts list then I will really start to enjoy this rig.:flipoff2:

The front panhard had been rubbing against the diff armor for a while now and eating the bar from the backside. I finally used a ruffstuff mount to relocate the panhard bar higher on the axle side. I purchase 2 and plan on doing the rear as well. Took about 3 hours to do. Had to cut it down and insert a DOM tube in the center to increase the strength even further. Not that it needed it, trust me this thing is beefy when you compare it to the paper thin factory mount bracket. The bracket is held in place using the factory bolt to the axle however I will also be welding it in place as well. No interference with the diff and should help with the geometry of the suspension.

Going to test drive tonight and if all is good, final welds, clean, paint, move on to the back.

You don't think that will give you some gnarly bump steer?
