Uwharrie Trails Open or Closed (2 Viewers)

Hi Folks,

Quick question on the status of the trails--website says they are open, it also says they close on Dec 15th--just curious which is accurate. If closed, is there anything else in the general area that is good for some light wheeling? I saw that @Izzyandsue had a recent trip, curious about where that is. A friend is flying in to pick up his new truck and wants to do a little wheeling as he hasn't really done any before (built Tacoma)

Trails are closed. I went to a private trail training area sponsored by the UORTC (driving school across El Dorado Outpost).

events like the one Izzy went on or trail workdays are your only options to get up there until April 1st.

Foolishness starts back every year around April Fools Day...that's how I remember when the trails open back up.
