Rolled 450,000 km (279,617 miles) last weekend, cell phone died 30 seconds before I could get a shot and I didn't have a charger with me:(
Still running half decent.
I even gave the interior a cleaning, first time since the kids were born!
Gonna pull the boat 5 hours north next month, I hope that old tranny is still up to the task!

Love this truck, I hope she hits that 500,000 km mark:)

Congrats. Very impressive. If you have a chance you should try to make it out to the True North Land Cruiser meeting.

We meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Hometown Sports Bar and Grill on Bank St. I'll PM you.

Our shop Fj is right around 175K now and has been wheeled hard its entire life. Still no major problems and no major repairs have been necessary (except some driver caused issues) But that doesn't count does it?

472,000+ and counting....
We recently gave her a new intermediate steering shaft and a new set of BFG AT KO2s!
Should be ready for the push to the 1/2 million km mark, hope I didn't jinx it!

Very proud day for us:

This all shows how bullet-proof Toyota's are. I have only 55k on my 2012FJ TTSE but at work we have a 2010 Tacoma extended cab with the same engine/trans/rear end and Prado frame that gets used and abused daily by lots of employees. I have driven it to job sites at least a dozen times sometimes towing a large single axle Miller welding rig and this thing is solid. Needs a windshield, maybe another set of brakes but the engine is strong and the tranny shifts great, the front end is solid, feels a lot like my FJ but this truck has almost 500k miles on it!! No leaks, no problems. Its the best truck in our fleet. I only have to go to job-sites occasionally but I always request this Taco over much newer Chevy's and Fords because its such a great solid driver.

My GF's 2007 has 244,500 on it and purrs....... amazingly smooth and still on original clutch !!!

///My GF's 2007 has 244,500////// original clutch !!!///
Thats great, I hear so many people bagging on female drivers with stick shifts, how they burn out the clutch often. My wife had a Dodge Stealth stick and 2 Mazda 626 sticks. The Stealth got from 0 to 250K miles and the Mazdas got over 125k miles each with no clutch problems . Have to dispel that clutch burning rumor.
However, I don't think I would want a stick with my commute, even at 20 miles each way its often stop and go on the freeway.

Agreed! My wife drives our Toyota Matrix stick to and from work everyday, 170km round trip, about 30% city driving. It has over 180,000km on the original clutch. I'd say some women can drive stick just fine!

So, our original goal was 500,000km, we're now well into that (see below, this mark was hit a few weeks ago).
The truck is in need of some love but still running well.
We just put a whole new front end (UCS, LCS and outer and inner tie rod ends) and plan on giving her a new exhaust before winter.
And we'll be in need of a new windshield (I think this will be number 4 or 5?) as I recently cracked ours while loading a piece of conduit into it.....ARGH!

Anyone think we can do 750,000km (466028 miles)?

Are your valve cover gaskets still original?
Starter?
Alternator?
Steering Pump?
[I've done the above except for valve cover gaskets]

I'd also be looking more closely at coil packs, injectors, radiator.

I should go through our log and list out what has been done over the years. Valve cover gaskets are original except I know one spark plug tube gaskets should be done sooner then later (light oil on plug last plug change). Alternator was replaced a couple of years ago. Starter and PS pump are original. Even one of the belt pulleys is original (all others have been replaced). Give me a few days and I'll compile a list of what got done and when. Shall I post it here or on a new thread?

OK here goes, log since new.
Before I begin I'll cover off the regular maintenance items that get done on interval (otherwise this post would be massive):

Engine Oil Changes: Every 5000km - Castrol Syntec 5W30 and Toyota Oil Filter
Grease U-Joints etc: roughly every oil change
Tranny Oil Change (Pan Drain only): Every 30-50,000km (depending on the pulling we'd be doing) - Toyota WS
Diff and Transfer Case Oil Change: Every 100,000km - Castrol Synthetic 75W90
Air Filters Change: As required via visual inspection - Toyota
PCV Valve: Every 100,000km
Spark Plugs: Roughly Every 50,000km (sometimes lazy with this one): Denso Plugs
Serp Belt: Every 100,000km - Toyota Belt

Now the actual log besides above (all parts Toyota unless indicated):

4-Sept-2017 (548,000km): Changed both sides UCAs and LCAs

I do see I'm missing an entry as to when we replaced the other serp belt pulleys, I seem to remember that being in the 300,000km area.
We also didn't list the windsheilds, which we're at #4
I don't believe much else has been missed, that should be the bulk anyhow LOL.
This may seem like a long list but once you remove brakes (in yellow) and some of the nonsense i could have avoided if I steered clear of trying to save money with NAPA (yes, I've learned this lesson before so shame on me) there really isn't that much IMHO.
