Going the unpin everything route.... Took about 3 nights to totally take it apart. Hopefully it speeds up the trouble shooting in the long run....

Got the fuel filter set. I think it should be out of the way enough to change if needed...

Looks like a nice set up!
Also looks like you have a return line on the intake (can't see) and your using the return less fuel filter.
Any details?

I have never seen how to properly plumb that fuel filter set up.

no return at fuel rail. just an input. I can't remember what year the gen 3 vortecs went this route. I think it also depends on if it is e85 as well....

the "corvette" filter also regulates the pressure.

1) Pump to filter, 2) return to tank, 3) filter to fuel rail.

ordered new emissions equipment. $333. A good chunk of that is in new o2 sensors. Hoping the purge valve coming with new intake isn't broken, otherwise, another $25. I haven't ordered the cats yet, but going with Walker's CalCat - supposedly a better cat and definitely a better warranty (5 yr/50k mi) - so that will be another $300. Walker 81724 is the part number if anyone cares.

I'm a little disappointed in Dakota Digital gauges. I ordered on 6/22/16 and just got an email it won't ship until the 19th of Aug. Which is fine, but this is the 2nd time they've updated the shipping date. I did order through summit, so I am going to complain and hopefully get a little knocked off the cats....?

Some random fittings arrived.

That banjo to AN fitting is cool, I had not seen that before. Good luck with Summit helping you too much on the pushed dates. I had those Whiteline sway bars and the date kept getting pushed for months. They weren't all that helpful which I was surprised about because they are usually really good.

i called dakota digital today and asked what the timing would be if I would order the gauges. They told me around the end of september. So...order them right out of the gate if you want them. I'd like to pretend it is holding me up, but it isn't. I'll call summit next week and see if they can get a more detailed update for me.

A few goodies showed up today....

My eBay fitting is just right :)

Ordered some stainless P clamps for the fuel line. Zip tying the evap line to the fuel line should be ok?

New intake also arrived. It looked to be in excellent condition. Intake, all sensors, fuel rail and injectors for $93. I'll send the injectors eventually to rc, once I stop hemorrhaging money. Took about 5 mins to change, such a much better design.
