and the dumb question of the day... where to put the fuse box? I bought a painless water-proof set up - but that doesn't actually lend itself to answering that question....

My painless panel went into the glove box. Tight, but it works.
I installed one up high above the clutch pedal assembly.
I tried there originally and couldn't think of a way to mount it. Plus it's really tight up there. How did you mount yours? Have any pics?

this is the water-proof fuse-box version - I'm seriously considering mounting it to the inner fender on the passenger side. If it doesn't have to be in a dry location, why not take advantage of the extra money I spent? and there's my question - has anyone run the waterproof version? I know on my H3, the fuse box is in the engine compartment and that isn't a problem....

It actually looks good black. But it also does look like a jeep that way, so I say no. Paint it tan. What color for the bezel? Black?
The grill and bezel aren't installed in that pic.
If you make the grill black and bezel white with that black bib, I bet that would look pretty slick!!

bezel and grill are black.... question is whether or not the grill shell should be black.
I hadn't considered a white bezel... my initial thought is it adds a color, not that it's necessarily a bad thing.... hmmm.

The bib then, gotcha. Install the grill, bezel and headlights to get a better idea. I think it might look too muted.

I have a couple weeks before I have to make that decision.... someone else suggested doing a chrome bezel with the black bib... I like chrome, but .... not necessarily on this build... but I do have the ability to do black chrome...
What piston diameter is your master? Did you go with 1 1/8"?

air? it's from an early 90s Chevy truck. It's on backwards there - I need to do a lot of modifying for it to work, but I want a snorkel so there's the start.

well, if you did it - then it couldn't be cool
the bezel itself is already repainted black.... but I'm still not inspired... It's like what Judge Cardoza said "you know porn when you see it" .... I'll say "THAT'S IT!!!" when I see it.... the other thought is powder coat the bezel copper or some contrasting, shiny color.

Air compressor... anyone will tell you that the threads on the outlet on a a/c compressor is different then NPT.. they're right, but it's close enough that I can make it work
put a set screw in the fitting, then JB weld the fitting to the a/c fitting... should be good enough... and truly, if zombies were chasing you, I suspect that there is enough interlock there without any extra help to keep it together.... this guarantees it.
hooking up air hoses - I decided to try the heat-shrink tube clamps
and they work
painted the heater, installed the glove box door (after paint), put hinges on the tailgate so I can fold it down while working...
and started working on the lines for the hydroboost
then cleaned the shop... or at least organized it a bit...
