You can twin stick a 3-spd case (or a 4spd for that matter), but it won't give you front drive only like a true twin stick'd case will (Atlas, etc.).
You'll have one that controls low/high range and one that engages and disengages front drive. You can get the same effect by removing the shift gate on top of the transfercase, allowing you to access 2-low.

i'd be curious to learn of how this is accomplished.

remove t-case shifter boot
peer down and see the "L" shaped guide slot
turn this into a square with a saw/grinder/torch/etc.

Ya know....? That's why I love this place. I'm just reading along, minding my own business, and POW!! Another cool idea I just have to try. Thanks guys. Now I've gotta put my shoes on and go out in the shop. We're wheeling in the morning so I'd better do it tonite.

You can also go the more expensive route and buy a AA Twin Stick adapter from either SOR for ~$250 I think, or directly from AA for ~?. It adapts to any length drivetrain in case you have tranny swaps in mind for the future. I haven't decided if I will go homemade or AA when I do my SM420. Depends on time and money.

If you cut or remove the plate just be careful when driving with your drunk buddies. Had my buddy grab the shifter and thankfully it only made it into nuetral. I removed my plate, so for me it was easy to bolt it back up the next day. It's easy for me to just hop under the truck and unbolt it when it's time to go wheeling and it's nice to know that someone can't F up my xcase when I'm not.

Was there an option for factory winch if there was is there any way you can provide me the model number from the winch or part number, thanks. How is the Diesel performing, as far as I can tell the KPG or MPG is really damn good.
