I attached the carfax Here is my dilema. I buy this and on my way home I get a call from someone I have been trying to buy his 1997 triple locked 80 (it is super clean). He says he is finally willing to let it go. I have been searching for a nice 80. I asked if he is...

I have decided to sell (or trade) my 2002 Lexus LX470 (Riverrock Green Mica) rigged for offroading, overlanding, and camping. I've owned it since August 2018. I purchased from a guy in Atlanta that bought the LX in 2016 from someone in New Orleans. He bought it stock and did most of the mods. I have made some minor changes since I purchased. The car has no rust and has never been in the north. The is pretty clean inside and out but there are some areas that show age. The truck runs great. It just needs a little TLC to be near perfect. I used it for an annual camping trip and little bit of off-roading. There are some mud stains in the undercarriage and wheel wells. It could probably use a good detail and maybe some shampoo on the carpet...

I'm going to look at a 05 LX470 on Saturday for $8900. I'm going to follow the OTRAMM pre-purchase inspection when I go to look at it. I'm taking a buddy of mine who is a mechanic as well. Is there anything else specific that I should be looking out for that isn't mentioned in the OTRAMM video? It's 276K miles but the owner says they are majority highway miles. 1 owner as well and meticulously taken care of. Southern vehicle so no rust according to owner, but I will still be checking. This vehicle is for my wife (for now) so I want to make sure I get it right. I appreciate the help!
1999 LX470, 258k Miles, $25,500 *$18,000 without Pull kitchen, arb drawer/fridge, white knuckle sliders, and gamiviti roof rack. (I still have second and third row seats, they are in excellent condition) Before you scoff at the price, read till the end. What's the biggest headache in an old LX? The AHC. But you won't have any issue with that here. Why give up the comfort of AHC when it's been meticulously maintained? Best of both worlds in my opinion. One of the main selling points of the rig, is the kitchen set up. That took some customizing with a local fab shop (Torfab in Everett) to install with hardware and connection points that didn’t come with the kitchen. That kitchen is only meant for truck beds which makes it so unique...
On the hunt for a bit of a rare bird. I'm specifically looking for a truck that was optioned without a sunroof. I'm flexible on most other items, but preferences are below: Prefer not red Prefer cloth seats Prefer non-nav Looking for clean frame Mileage is less of a concern as long as the truck has been taken care of Budget is flexible depending on the truck, but ideally I'd like to be around the $15k mark, if possible. Not looking for a show vehicle. Anything out there?
**SOLD** Staying local and new owner is a mud member! Selling my 98 100 series for $18.5 obo Clear title/clean carfax no accidents, all vin stickers are present 214k miles, will go up slightly. I’ve owned it for about a year and I’ve decided to sell to try and pursue another project. Unique features include no sunroof, no heated seats, no roof rack, no rear spoiler, no rear heat so that means no heater tees. It does have leather seats unlike some poverty packs that came with cloth. I added a few other basic trim pieces to give it a more base model appearance. It’s been well maintained its entire life and I have a stack records/receipts that go back to 99. I also have the original window sticker. Cosmetically the body is in great...
Selling my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. Currently has 121,062 miles on it. That could increase as I drive around town prior to sale, but it shouldn't increase significantly. I love this thing and am only selling because I bought the orange thing pictured below:). It's been great and I honesty hate to part with it, but I just can't justify keeping it. It has damage listed on the Carfax to the "left center pillar" 4/16/03. Per the original owner, someone clipped him in a parking lot. I've never had any issues at all. It lists me as the 3rd owner, but it was originally purchased through a a business and (I believe) transferred to the gentleman I purchased from after a relationship ended. Under my ownership it's been very well maintained and...
I am selling my 2004 Land Cruiser that I have owned for the past 75k miles (4.5 years). The good: - Rust free, lived in Georgia all its life. - Nav delete and all steering wheel controls and backup camera work. Installing a new head unit is plug and play with standard Toyota connectors. - Doug Thorley headers - TRD Pro wheels The bad: - Cracked windshield - Paint isn’t great. Driver front fender looks bad up close and there are deep scratches from where the fender flares were removed. - Lumbar on seats doesn’t work. - Steering wheel telescopic function doesn’t work. Asking $11,250 OBO. Text with any questions. 706-255-3971.
Hello, and thank you for looking! I bought my LX470 in 2017 while i lived in Colorado at around 123k miles. It has been one awesome vehicle! This thing has moved me across the country, and what we usually drive on road trips out west! Originally a Texas truck until 2017, and then Colorado truck for 2 years until 2019, when i moved back to Michigan! Vehicle was undercoated and driven 1 Michigan winter, usually 1-2 days a week max, before I said it was way to clean to subject to salty conditions! It has been stored every winter from there on out. Since I’ve owned it, it has been serviced by either Kuni Lexus of Colorado, Metro Toyota, Sunshine Toyota and Meade Lexus of Michigan, or Jordan Lexus of Indiana every 5k miles. I have...
Selling my 2k 100 Series. 285k on the clock, Maintained by me. Complete timing kit installed @217k, axles and steering rack replaced at same time. Upgraded rear springs with the 2860 OME heavy duty for towing. Replaced Upper and lower control arms and suspension- Repaired AC as well with new compressor, drier, evaporator, and rings, etc. Interior is a little rough, replaced with LSeats covers but they started to delaminate. Replaced Power Steering Pump and lines. Rear seats rough from puppies but otherwise clean. No rust (as far as I'm aware) and vehicle is mechanically sound. LOW MILES. AHC Delete. Super Clean and Pampered Condition. Exceptionally maintained and tastefully modified 2003 LX470. This LX470 has only 169k miles and has been completely baselined. She has always hailed from Central Texas so it has an exceptionally clean underside with no rust and no leaks. Beautiful Galactic Gray Mica paint with Ivory Leather. This has been my personal 100-series for 2 years; it’s one of three 100-series that I have owned. My wife drives a 2002 LX470 that is going to remain in the stable. This LX470 has been regularly maintained at Toyota/Lexus Dealerships or Land Cruiser Specialist in Austin. This drives super smooth and I would take it anywhere without any hesitation. Everything works on this rig – antennae...
After a lot of investigation and lurking and here and Craigslist I've settled on tracking down a 2003-2005 LX470/LC100 (for the 5 speed transmission), looking for something lifted and modified for overland with little to no rust and in otherwise good condition, not picky about milage. I'm located in CA but willing to fly anywhere that doesn't salt the roads to pick up the vehicle and drive it back.
Highlights THIS… is a 2005 Lexus LX 470, finished in galactic gray mica with a gray leather interior. Notable equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a locking center differential, an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system, Adjustable Height Control (AHC) system, front fog lights, roof rails with cross bars, a power-operated sunroof, wood interior trim, leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats with driver's memory function, a Mark Levinson sound system, a navigation system, and a rear-view camera. Modifications include a Dissent Offroad aluminum front bumper with a small stinger, flip up front license plate bracket , 20 inch LED light bar, 2 Rigid Industries D series pro flush mount 3 x 3 LEDs, Smittybilt...

Hi all, A relative of mine is considering purchasing this truck in Florida. 2005 Toyota LandCruiser. He has asked me for my thoughts, and in general I think it looks OK. The attached CarFax shows low mileage and number of owners, pretty good dealer maintenance history, but also that it lived nearly its entire life in the NE so rust is an obvious concern. Some underside pics are attached - there is some rust and it looks like it was spray painted over to obscure its true condition. That being said, I've seen 100 series with a LOT more rust, so I'm trying to get a sense of whether this is an immediate non-starter, or just something to keep an eye on in the future. My thought is that it's the latter but I have never owned a 100, and...
My search for the right '98 - '01 pre-Toyota Nav system continues... I like Atlantis Blue, Imperial Jade Mica, River Rock Green Mica, and White (with Grey interior preferred). So this is a contender. This has 182 miles, Gulf Coast fenders/pin-stripping, and Gold emblems, and the owner is asking $20K with 5 new BFG KOs). It is unlifted/unmodded, has Toyota rear locker, and interior is original (including faux wood bits) but no tears in leather yet. I stumbled upon this one in Imperial Jade about 300 miles from me and the owner did a great job of taking pictures of the under carriage and bits I asked him about. I am hoping the experts here can take a look at the under carriage and help me determine that this is an acceptable level of...
