SOLD Beaufort SC, 1993 FZJ80, triple locked, 6.2 LS, High Performance Trail rig / Overlander!

Daily Driver $20,000- selling my LS swapped 93 fzj80 with factory lockers and the full float disc rear. Engine is an all aluminum 6.2 With Truck Norris cam 400+hp/tq. Trans 4l60e built for 450hp with truck yeah converter. T-case has part time 4wd conversion, 10% underdrive high range gears and 3.11 low range. Front axle has Asian hubs, recently rebuilt knuckles with bearings, hd steering, caster plates and axle moved forward 1”. Rear axle has track bar correction brackets. Suspension is old man emu 4”. Front and rear Slee bumpers with tire carrier, metal tech rock sliders and belly skid. Tires are 37-12.50-17 geolanders. Interior is well used, body has a couple dents and small rust spots.

$7k obo Currently not running, I think the rubber gas line ruptured some where. I think. Highlights slee front bumper, 4x4 labs rear (my first welding project and not the best to be honest), 6.0L vortec (donor had about 100k miles on it), 4l80e w/ marks adapter, 5.29 gears, arb front, tjm rear, 4" OME lift with caster correction plates, I made my own "delta" rear panhard bracket, dakota digital guages, Steel nutz radiator w/ DCC controller. When she's running, she's a lot of fun to drive - it reminds me of being back in high school again. I'm out of steam though, and it's time for someone else to enjoy this project. For Sale 1992 FJ80, W. Pennsylvania

$8500. Strong running FJ80 with the 3FE engine. No mechanical issues. I love this vehicle, but don’t love 11-14 mpg. Running the factory 15”alloy with almost new 31” Grabber A/Ts. Not flipping. This is my daily driver. Very solid. Light surface rust on drive train and body anchors. I find no rust on the body itself. ~237k miles. Step rails are rusty, but rocker panels are rock solid. AC blows ice cold with occasional refrigerant recharge. (I converted to R-134a.) Can deliver within reasonable radius. Drive light shines brightly. Cons: Front heat blows cold (rear heat blows warm) Clear coat is shot Windows are slow in winter.

Right at the beginning of Covid, I had the opportunity to purchase a 95 FJZ80 in moonglow pearl w clothe interior. I waffled on the purchase and someone else purchased it before I made up my mind and I have regretted my decision since that time. I am looking for an FJ80 or FJZ80 in moonglow pearly that meets as many of these requirements as possible: Moonglow Pearl Grey Cloth Interior (Ideally Blue like shown in photo below) 1995-1997 Stock or mostly stock (lift & tires are fine) Factory e-lockers nice to have, but not mandatory Preferably in Western US, but willing to travel for the right rig. It does not have F+R lockers, there is a switch installed to control after market e-lockers when the time comes (i can even reinstall the relays to make the dash lights light up if desired) $15k o.b.o. It's not a perfect rig, it does have a few bumps and bruises but cleans up really well, and most importantly has no rust. Now on to the good stuff. I have a fair-condition FZJ80 for sale. FWB/Destin/FL Panhandle area. 210,000 miles. Asking $10,500. Interior is great, most electronics work, even antenna. Exterior could use some work, minor bumps and bruises. Benefit from paint correction. Runs and drives, A/C and heat work well. Biggest flaw is a ticking in the motor. Could be rod knock, or could need a valve adjustment. Otherwise, it is a very good truck that will last. Just needs someone with more time and deeper pockets to take care of her.
