This is basically my dream rig so I wanted to share
OK. I've got a 1985 FJ45 Troopy for sale. I tried selling on BaT. After this, my third BaT auction I'm convinced buyers there are only looking for shiny, finished, polished FJ. That is not what this is. This is a mechanically sound, beautiful FJ with lots of options if you wish to turn it into a $50-$70k rig.
Link to photo album is here.
This is a Venezuelan truck. Original LHD. I bought in '17, imported in '18. I'm selling because my wife chose her soft-top FJ40 over this one and that one is going to get all of the love ($$$).
I imported this to Ft. Lauderdale, flew down and drove it straight home to Oxford Mississippi. It was a breeze and a blast. This thing rides great even at 65 on the highway.

Bid with confidence!!!
well known truck to ih8mud. Serviced at Cruiser Corps. Hate to see it go but it’s time for the next adventure...
Editted - yes, this is in the wrong section, will be updating shortly. But at least everyone here is familiar with imported rigs? 🙄
Not connected in any way to the sale, nor do I know anything about this model, but seemed like something everyone would like to take a peak at over the weekend. Anyone have any experience with these Brazilian imports? I've heard/seen other South American imports can be pretty beat up, but this one is interesting if for no other reason than it's got a Toyota diesel rather than a Merc.

FJ43 Bring a Trailer Auction - No reserve
This FJ43 came to me in amazing cosmetic condition from a Columbian who had moved to Canada after having it frame-off restored in Colombia in 2014. He wasn’t using it and I picked it up and imported it to the US in 2016. I quickly realized the engine and accessories were in sorry (but pretty) shape so I called on my local vintage engineering shop (Northumberland Engineering out of Southampton) to go to town on it. We added the family cage, rear bench, 3 point seatbelts (for car seats), dual ARB lockers and rebuilt the transmission, transfer case and the various other motor accessories that needed attention. I then used it for 3 years and have had immense enjoyment from it– looks great, starts...

FJ43109561
I have no firsthand knowledge of this vehicle, however I have closely followed a couple of previous auctions from this seller, and they're not someone with whom I'd want to do business.
Especially this 4Runner auction that was pulled down a couple of months ago.
