The FJ40's frame is 3/4" narrower than the 
in the front, so redrilling the bumper top & bottom for the side angled plates will be necessary. On the rear, the FJ40 used bumperettes vs. a full width bumper on the , so I doubt any mounting holes will be a direct fit.
