On behalf of Mike I am posting his ROTM. He is fighting the wildfires in CA, so he hopefully will be able to answer questions and post some more pics later this month.

Here are the photo's and a short description of my 1967-FJ-45. It currently
has an older 350 V/8 with T-350 automatic transmission. It has 4" custom
Alcan springs w/Downey extended shackles, stock wheels w/ hubcaps widened to
10", 35" MTR's, 4-wheel disc brakes, courtesy of Mark of Marks Off Road.
Future plans are a new crate motor w/ Edelbrock goodies and a custom
Aluminum radiator. It spends most of it's time hauling surfboards up and
down the coast of So. California.

Thanks
Mike (Ghetto Fireman)

Nice pickup. There was another one somewhat like this for sale a year or two ago. It had no engine and more stainless hdwe on it making it look a tad unusual but in very good shape.

If that's the same rig... you've improved on it. Regardless... it's a beauty you've got there. Very nice.

Here are a couple of before pictures. I bought it from Bruce Miller from Colorado, first class individual. Had it shipped here to So. Cal. My 16 yr. old son is eye balling it real hard. Thanks Brett for posting my photo's, just got home from Concow, Ca. I am getting to old for this job.

What department do you work for? Or engine has been up near Shast for a week. I hope they come back soon, it's a bitch running all these engine calls. The truck needs it's shield back:D

Great! I'm with LA City 20 years. I dont own a cruiser, just hang out over here;)

A buddy of mine Landcruiserjunky is a good friend of mine.

Hey Mike,

That is a sweet rig, it reminds how much work I have ahead of me to get my 45 back on the road.

I got back from Concow a week ago, spent 8 days up there.
