Will I need a new water pump pulley? -yup. update 9-9-9 pics.

When I tried my new pump I found the spout to be cocked, larger, and the shaft is taller. Will a 67+ pulley and hoses "fix" my problem? Thanks.

So the problems are several but hopefully small.
The shaft is aprox. 10mm longer. The new hose config is nothing like the old, and I'm not certain what happens next.

I've posted several pics, and it is my hope that anybody with a newer (say 67ish) f block can take some measurements so I know I'm on the right track. It's all mocked up but not bolted down.

As the shaft is 10mm taller my pump pulley is now off. What I'm looking for is a measurement of the pulley depth, and one from the block itself to the center of the pump pulley.

I'm also looking for a measurement of the heater pipe. I'll need this to know how much to cut out of my hose.

I'll post up part numbers for the parts after I'm done.

Thanks for any help.

Here's some pics:

The crank is 95mm; about the same as the old pump. This is why I'm hoping the newer pulley is deeper.

As you can see the old heater pipe was straight shot and pretty simple. I'm going to have the old pump seal replaced and put all of these parts on the shelf. Hard to say whether the set-up was factory or a previous owner. As whitey stated; it's not the original block. The pump did have the toyo marks though so I figure it''s worth saving.

The extra 10mm seems to leave my fan clearance at a reasonable level.

In the end, the answer is "yes". Toyota dealt with shaft depth by adjusting the pulley depth. It also required the use of some longer bolts (new pump was thicker in two places).
New system in place and all is good to go.

Big thanks to Mark (marksoffroad) for getting me squared away with parts.

I'm posting up for anybody else who has to deal with this issue.

Pump is 69, as are the hoses. Heater pipe is late 60-70's, and the pulley is later f as well (maybe 2f- tag said 74).

Thanks for posting that up, it's always nice to have some workarounds available. :) So to sum it up, a later pump will work with a later model the inside double pulley?

Yep. I had the factory pump rebuilt and placed it and the hoses/pulley on the shelf. I'm trying to stick with bolt on mods while improving driveability. I needed to be able to walk into any parts store and buy parts. Mission accomplished.

The inside pulley works for the pump, and leaves me with a spare for a compressor/power steering mod.
