What's the difference? I've done a few turbo's but never had to worry about this.

Apparently, the 1982 and before trucks came with the lid with a longer "arm" that extends toward/across the engine. I believe the later models had a shorter "arm" on the lid... Turbo-Glide's instructions warn of this issue and I have in fact seen different lids - one long and the other short. Go figure.

Something off a BJ70 work for you?
Should have some of those kicking around.

Yes, I think a BJ70 lid should work. If you could post up a pic of what you got and the diameter of the lid and the actual air outlet.

Much appreciated, only thing holding my turbo project up!

Gracias,
Gringo

Sorry.. kind of forgot all about this.
The 70 lid O/D of felt seal is 12"
The outlet O/D is 2 7/8"

The length on the "arm" as you call it is just over 8" from center
Looks like you have it covered though..

Thanks for the replies and measurements, turns out I must have an oddly-sized NZ market size air cleaner. So... I hacked mine and am now good to go. Thanks again!
