1997 Land Cruiser FZJ80 Triple-Locked 80 series (185,721 miles) for sale $7K OBO:
I’ve owned this LC for the last twenty years and have kept it essentially stock. It is located in Deland, FL near Daytona Beach. Clear FL title. As a Florida truck for 20 years and Texas before that, rust is minimal ( rust bubble on tailgate near rear window). The truck runs cool, drives and stops straight, and has five Toyo Open Country ATs with half tread remaining. CEL is off. The A/C blows cold (but motor is noisy), and the lockers work. Factory Maintenance Manual and Electrical Wiring Diagram/Manual are included. Headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals operate properly. Front and rear wipers work properly but washer doesn’t work. Engine, driveline, suspension, and exhaust are original but functional. Windshield has a crack on driver side that I’ve gotten used to (see photo). Florida sun has baked the interior, ruining the sunroof (sealed shut with Flex Tape). Front seats and teak veneer are shot, with only the dash pad remaining intact.
*** Edited 8/27/24 to add: Dash pad is NOT undamaged. It is cracked where hidden behind the steering wheel from driver line of sight. ***
Radio plays through one speaker and the antenna was removed by a tree limb. Rear seats, third row seats, and carpeting were removed after an incident with water on the trail in 2009 (see photo). As a result, front seats no longer adjust and driver side window doesn’t work and the brake and air bag warning lights are stuck on. Transmission was rebuilt at that time. Paint is decent with one rust bubble under rear window (see photo), Body panels and fender flares are undamaged, but rear bumper plastic was crunched and tailpipe removed by backing into a tree. Valve cover gasket was replaced in 2024 along with distributor cap, wires, and plugs.
