2000 Land Cruiser 100 Series, 4.7L V8, full-time 4WD. 308k miles with a
binder of records to back it up — including a full AISIN timing belt and
water pump kit done at 252k, so that job isn't yours.
Washington truck. Frame rails and cross-members are solid — light surface patina only. Passenger rear rocker is rusted at the lower rear corner where it meets the wheel arch, roughly a 2–3 inch area, perforated with some delamination at the flange. I probed it with a screwdriver; sound metal within a few inches in every direction. Photos included.

An independent shop inspected it at 298k: front brake pads 8mm, rear 9mm,
27 points passed. They flagged 8 items and I fixed 6 within two months.
NEEDS WORK — telling you up front
- Passenger rear rocker is rusting. Photos included.
- Spare wheel is damaged. Not in service, the four on the road are sound.
- Right front rotor is grooved. Pads are fine.
- Steering rack boot is wet. Shop pierced it, got no fluid, level is full, still damp so may be seeping.
- Previous owner mentioned a head gasket job, but there's no invoice for it in the file. Luper Automotive traced the oil leak to the valve covers instead, replaced those, and noted the valve train was clean at 298k.
Kenwood head unit with Apple CarPlay Android Auto and a backup camera I installed. Also installed new door speakers throughout.
BFG all-terrains with good tread on stock wheels.
Third row seats included — they're in Idaho and I'll have them back after Labor Day. Happy to ship them or arrange handoff if you buy before then.
