For sale 80-series/LX450 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser (Denver)

I bought this 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser recently with plans to replace my FJ60. However, after owing the 80 for about a month, I’ve realized that what I actually need for my use is a 100/200 series, so I’m regretfully selling the 80.

CONDITION

Clean title. The Cruiser starts up on first crank with no check engine light. Runs and drives fine, although the power steering needs work. Body is in good shape; it was originally Blue Slate Metallic, but was repainted (possibly in Blue Nightshadow Pearl?). Rear fender flares are included and just need to be mounted. Some through-body rust at bottom of rear fenders, top front right fender well, and 2 minor surface areas; minor hail damage to hood only. Frame very solid and clean. Interior is in good condition overall. Seats are rough as usual but have nice Escape Gear 80-Series seat covers. Tires are Falken Rubitrek A/T mud-snow and have lots of tread remaining. No spare tire.

ISSUES

• Not currently passing emissions. The prior owner told me all it needed was an oxygen sensor, which I replaced, but still failed by a small margin. Had a Toyota shop diagnose it, and what it actually needs to pass is a new catalytic converter. Also suggested new distributor, cap, rotor, plugs & wires.
• Power steering leaking and making noise
• A/C not cold, needs recharge/repair
• Difficult to shift into and out of low-range
• Various oil leaks
• Both power seats have control/motor issues
• Moonroof is cracked but not through, does not leak
• Not a comprehensive list; there are misc age-related areas to refresh, ie bushings, hoses, lines.

RECENT WORK

Previous owner had the following work done:

• Replaced passenger side birfield joint and axle, with new seals & bearings
• EGR valve
• Rear brake caliper & rotor, front pads
• Window seals (exterior)
• New battery
• JVC head unit w/ CarPlay

PARTS INCLUDED

• Birfield joint/axle, seals & bearings (for drivers side)
• Rear fender flares
• Interior window seals
• Misc interior parts (climate control button set; new shift knob cover)
• Original Toyota head unit
• 3rd row jump seats
