While wandering Walmart a few days ago searching for a pool for the kids, I found a 12v/110vac bug zapper similar to the Koolatron unit I had purchased last year.

I've only had a chance to use the Koolatron unit once so far on a bug free (well, just mayflies) camping trip, but it did catch lots of moths.

The Walmart unit (I can't find a link or remember the brand name) was selling for $45ish (canuck bucks), and appeared to be better quality than the Koolatron unit, plus it had the AC plug option as well.

I think those results are misleading. You catch a lot of moths because a lot of moths are attracted to the unit. If you didn't have the unit, would you have noticed the moths?
