sweet! wonder if one could be modified easily for a 60????? Hmmmmm....

i have been thinking about this same thing for quite awhile now in a 62 roof. I would want an internal roll cage and build a platform on top of it. Then the roof would be split at the seams. It is either that or a discovery roof.

I'm not even sure that a rollcage would be needed: basically, once the poptop is in, you can climb into through a moonroof-like door, no?

I would want a rollcage for safety. It would also allow the easy construction of a platform on top of the frame. It would have a moon roof like door or removable hatch.

I would also want it to lift straight up, so that a roof rack could remain relatively level. I don't know if you could use some hydraulic actuators or something like that.
