After reading all the various threads across the different forums about replacement of the PHH, I would like to offer some help.

For those of you not inclined to tackle this job yourself, and by all means I'm not trying to take away from the experience of working on your own rig, my shop will run a "special" for MUD members only.

PHH installed, parts and labor - $100.00. It's usually almost double that.

Call me if this is of interest to anyone.

John, if you were closer to me I would let you do most of the work in my truck. :D
Nice to see you being active here especially SoCal 80s. Beats trusting a complete stranger to work on your pride and joy (Daily driver too!).

If you need your PHH done and dont plan on doing any other "side jobs" while in there, this is a smoking deal.

this is a smoking deal.

Unfortuantely I have already busted my knuckes changing mine

John, I'll be bringing my truck in next week for some minor service. I'll call you.

Haha! 2X

John, this is really nice of you to do this. Hope you get a good turnout (YOU SHOULD!).

That is a deal, and if you had been closer to Sacramento a year ago when I did mine, that job would have been yours.

great deal, bad location for me............how quick? maybe a overnight SD trip........

What type of hose and clamps are included?

Having second thoughts on tackling this by yourself after witnessing our debacle?

Will this be an ongoing special or is there a experation date?

Subject to change of course, but at the moment, no coupons needed, no expiration date. Just offering some help to fellow Cruiser Heads.

What type of hose and clamps are included?

Original factory hose with original red top clamps on both ends. Sardine can style clamp is discarded. Remember, the original setup lasts 100 - 150K and although I am aware that everone is touting the blue silicone setup it has been our experience that silicone hoses are more easilly prone for tears or splits. If you insist on using the silicone hose and you have it, I'll put it on....same price.
