The rotisserie is done and I'm waiting to hear back from John about the tub and other bits for my full on frame off nightmare. I'm cleaning out the garage as I'm going to need the space. I have a few things that need to go and likely more on the way. Thought I'd throw it out to the club before craig's listing it. I'll hang on to items for one week then they go! Need the space.

1) 700 CCA Moto Master battery with a full charge (Free)
2) Mikita 5A drill works well but needs a new chuck (Free)
3) Roller fairlead (free)
4) 38' of 3/4" x 3/4" 16 Ga steel left over from my roof rack build 3x10' 1x8' (free)
5) 1970 Eaton's (Chrysler) 6 Hp two stroke out board runs good (offers)

PENDING CONFIRMATION OF MY TUB DEAL

6) One set of New OEM 70 rocker panels
8) A 74 tub with lots of useful sheet metal for patch panels

1,3&4 have found a new home.

Thanks again.

No Worries,

I may need directions to that lake we chatted about. Its not in my back road map book and I don't have a topo for the area yet. If the fishing is better than Lodwick I have to check it out. I caught a ton in two days.

Thanks

Dave

I don't know if I would say the fishing is better than Lodwick. However, the fish do taste a lot better, as their main feed is shrimp. The fish on the Pike Mountain side lakes like Lodwick, Thalia, etc tend to have more of a muddy taste. The fish in this Lake feed almost exclusively on shrimp. If you want numbers, than I'd recommend Stringer for a fish a cast lake. For really big fish, then Dry Lake would be a good lake. However, you really have to work for them. I've seen over 8 lb fish out of that lake taken on a Doc or a Full-Back. I got skunked there two evenings last summer. My son each evening had a 3.5 lb fish within 30 minutes. He just took on a bobber and worm.

Dry Lake Camp is a private camp ground. I have known the owners, Marty and Lynn, since I was a little kid riding out there on my banana bike to camp and fish. We started going there again when my kids were little. Its a great place for young families as they don't put up with party animals. It might be a good base camp for you to keep the wife and kids happy while you do some more extreme stuff. It is a bit rustic, with outhouses instead of full washrooms. However, they have showers, water and electricity. They also have rental cabins and a little store for ice and snacks.
