We are in the process of putting our house up for sale in the next 6 months so I’m faced cleaning up the garage. My options for my 45 project are find a place to store it until we move and then hide it in a 2 car garage until I can build a shop to start working on it. Means it might be done in 2017.
My other option is to trade it for a running and driving 40 which would suit my family better since I purchased the 45 when it was just my wife and now with 2 kids a 40 would be a better choice.
I will not part it out unless someone buys the tub, frame, bed and roll cage. I probably have over $17k invested into this truck and will be taking a huge hit I’m sure.
So if someone has always wanted that FJ45 and has multiple trucks let me know what you got.
The truck is currently in pieces but can put it together as a roller for shipping. I’m willing to retain some of the parts in order to make for a fair trade or if you also wanted to kick in some cash that is fine too. I could probably kick in a little cash for the right cruiser but I don’t have a ton to spend right now. I have a trailer and can deliever or meet you somewhere within a reasonable distance.
New owner will get a copy of the prior registration and bill of sale as RI doesn’t require a title after 10 years. I would expect a title if you state provides one or at least a previous registation in your name so I can register the truck.

I am looking for a relatively stockish 40 with a solid frame and hard top, mild lift okay. Year doesn't really matter although I prefer 78 and prior. No V8 conversions, SM420/SM465, Saginaw conversions.
FJ45
Brand new OME 2.5 lift (front/light:rear/heavy)
1/8” steel bed to mimic the stock bed from Poor Wally’s Land Cruiser Emporium
Roll cage from North Country Land Cruisers
Rebuilt 2F (never been fired)
H55 with rebuilt split case T-case
Full Floater Rear Axle (with outer rebuild kit)
60/40 bench seat from an 82 RHD FJ45 (need to make brackets)
Factory Toyota Windshield hinge Mirrors (rectangular)
Good set of doors with CCOT door bottoms with CCOT door kit
Good early bib with new bib lights and emblem
Good early aprons with new toyota emblems
Excellent aftermarket Fenders with early turn signals
Choice of good split hood or excellent later hood
Disk brake hub cap clip wheels with new Toyota hub caps (roller tires)
Front disk brake conversion pieces with rebuilt hubs
Brand new corner glass for the hard top with seals
Brand new windshield gasket
RHD FJ60 steering box. (Frame already been modified)
Custom made from bumper with shackle mounts
