Good Machine Shop

Anyone have a reputable machine shop they use in PHX?? Blew the head gasket on my 2F and need to have the head checked out. Is there anyone in town that has alot of experience with 2F's or will any good shop be ok?

I've heard of good experiences with Basko in Gilbert. I don't know if they have specific 2F experience but I'd guess so.

I highly recommend the guys at Morrison Auto Machine Shop in downtown Glendale. They blocked my 3f head when I did the head gasket (the 2nd time) and replaced 2 valves for me...
Family-owned business that has been in Glendale since the 70's and that location since the 90's...

I have heard that Greulichs has a machine shop that has tons of experience with F and 2F motors. A friend on Mud has maybe 4 of his (Greulich's) rebuilds floating around his shop waiting for projects and another 2 in that are in cruisers.

Yepper, i think Greg does a great job. Highly recommended. Great prices and he has an 80 he's driven for years.

Depending what part of the valley you're in, I would check out Baker Machinery in Gilbert (Power and Ray area). They did a ton of custom work on my 1FZ-FE. The shop manager is super anal about quality and exactness.
