OK folks, my rig is on the DIFF LOCK DASH WARNING MODE AGAIN! Had it serviced sorted and was working all great. I've been spending more time & money on the dirt bikes recently so I'm sure my ADV80 is unhappy and flared up its attitude again! I would like to purchase the CDL Solenoid that sits atop the T-Case and would like find a good one to swap out the one I have.
This issue inflicted itself once before while on a business trip back in June as noted in my thread #296
I did the same work-around procedure as last time and disconnected the transmission computer located in the driver side kick panel. Jumped in and backed up and forward and repeated the process to see if I could get the CDL to disengage. But this time, no avail. So, with time pressing I took the front driveshaft out.
The ADV80 is rendered back to 2WD for the moment and will have to get it back in the shop soon as I will need the rig for service work again for King of the Hammers in February.
Any help on getting a new, used, 'nother Center Diff Solenoid would be great - please let me know where I can get one?
