For the past 2 weeks ive been having problems with my CDL not engaging as you all know with the CDL not engaging equals no FF and RR lockers
So after reading and reading here on mud i thought it was time to go underneath and see what was going on.....
Did the following:
1.) checked 4low switch on TC
2.) abs/cdl switch on TC
3.) removed actuator and cleaned
4.) cleaned connectors
5.) transmission relay (ebay)
6.) CDL switch
7.) 7 Pin Mod
after all that i was still having problems
Soooo i called "SAM STWEART" from lowe Toyota he is one of the vendors here
He gave me the following Info. over the phone
white/black pin#4
green/red pin#2
green/blackpin#5
green pin#3
green/yellow pin#6
with that info i was able to put the multimeter to work and sure enough it was a bad connection on the green wire that goes into the actuator that lead to the 3 copper tabs on the spur gear.
i would also like to thank chrisb Asutherland and rbdave and of course IH8MUD
i hope this info. helps someone else down the road.
