Just got my Tuffy installed and secured. Ordered the ARB Recovery Kit and Blitz 240 lights from Slee to go with the ARB Winch bumper I am ordering in a few days. Next month replacing the shocks and springs with the stock height kit since I won't fit in the garage with anything bigger.

Finally on the way to where I want to be. More pics to come as all that other stuff arrives and is on etc.

:)

That looks really good! You have real cup holders now too! I need to replace the cover on my console and have no need for the sub and CD stacker in mine I should look at doing this as well. What was involved with installing it? I second the request for a part number too.

Do your middle seats clear the console when folded?

This is a really good looking mod and offers a good, secure place to store the Glock;)

Did the install block the rear heater vents?

No it doesn't block the rear heater vent which is nice.
Didn't try and fold the seats up yet will have try and report back.

In the install thread I referenced and couple other tuffy threads on 80's some people can get them up some can't. Supposedly its easier on a LX I think I read .. either way I fold up the seats to carry something maybe once a year otherwise there always up so no biggie.

I've also got a Tuffy. They come in a tan color, too, that matches the Oak interior well. BTW, it's the 8" wide Tuffy that lets you have space to reach the emergency brake easily.

Folding the rear seats depends on where you place the Tuffy and the cupholder. Mine is much farther forward overall, because I needed it for support under my right elbow. You can compare in my pics in this thread:

I installed my cupholder in back, which keeps the seats from flipping up, but allows them to be folded. If I relocated the cupholder, they would probably flip, too.

So, the Tuffy fits, plus a little ingenuity in installation allows you to fine-tune its location to your needs.

BTW, nice install, but you gotta do something about that flash:lol:

haha the flash is from my Droid cell phone in a semi dark garage sorry about that. Its just easier to share pics from my Droid to my computer than to use my camcorder.

Tan or Spice

I saw the "Spice" color. Is there a seperate "Tan" color as well? Did the cupholders come with? Looks sharp. i want the deluxe for my scanner. Love listening to the weather.:D

Cupholders come with.. they either attach to the front of the console or the rear. You can buy separate cupholders for example so I would have two in front and two for rear passengers which is neat.

Apparently "Spice" is the tan color and from other pics of Tuffy installs that is what shade they had.

A quick trip through my paperwork file didn't turn up the doc I was looking for. I would have bet that "spice" was what tan is, but a check with Tuffy's website shows that they have a "light tan" in addition to "spice," which is darker than mine. Neither is an exact match to the Oak interior, but to my eye, the light tan was closer so that's what I went with.

Yes, one metal two-spot cupholder comes with it. You can order an extra one and install cupholders on either end, but this may make the console so long that it interferes with the 2nd row seats flipping. You can always locate the console where you want it in the truck, then use the supplied cupholder to decide if you can squeeze an extra cupholder in.
