Which two goes one the front & which two goes on the back? I am going to try rubber lubricant to get them to fit. I know there has been a few threads but one with pictures would help. I have never tried any suspension mods & honestly don't know how to install.

Mine took a little lube and driving around before they finally seated. I think this is pretty common.

I laid mine in the sun while I removed the springs then a little bit of lube and a few speed bumps and they were happy!

Will someone give me a step by step for the install? Do I have to take all the steps required for a true coil spring lift? From what I have read I need to lift the vehicle, place on jack stands, remove the wheels, compress the coil, slide in the spacer, then reverse order. Am I close?

Jack up the vehicle.
Support it by the frame.
Support axle
Take off the wheels.
Id un-bolt the brake line bracket on the passenger side, and the abs lines on the driver radius arm, just to be safe.
Drop axle down enough to pull out spring (start on drivers side)
Spray silicone lube on the spacer.
Place on top of spring.
Re-install spring.
Repeat for passenger side.
Put everything back together.
Drive around and hit some speed bumps to set spacers.
Enjoy.

Thank you. I will do it step by step this week.

Fixed it for ya

I installed 1" spacers on a stock height FZJ80 several years ago by simply jacking up vehicle, placing jack stands under frame, removing wheels and then used a spring compressor to compress the springs enough to slide the spacer in. Not sure if this is any easier of faster than removing the shock and sway bar though. If you have any lift this probably wouldn't be possible but it appears you are running stock springs.

Do I also need to remove the nuts on the top of the buckets to remove the springs?

I think I understand now. The two nuts on the top are to hold the bumpstops in place & not the springs. Correct?

What size tires are you running? I am ordering the spacers and am torn between 33's and 35's. any suggestions?
