So just over 6 or so weeks ago i picked up my 80. it needed a new transmission, rust repair fix the PO's bondo job and a few other things taken care of.
I took care of the Trans, the botched Bondo job and had the lower portion of the rig treated with rust stopper/converter stuff and sprayed on bedliner.
Had the front ARB bumper that the rust ate through sand blasted, replated and sprayed with bedliner. I still havent gotten to the rear bumper yet!
also took off the expedition rack with the KC lights. Moved 2 of the lights to the ARB and the winch is still getting refurbed for future use!
I thought about having the whole thing resprayed but then thought against it because it would just give me more reason to turn it into a Garage queen. This way atleast if it gets dented/scratched/whatever, i could just shrug my shoulders and call it a battle scar.
