Ok I searched, but I could not find a definitive answer. This is regarding putting the birfs back in, I worked at them for a while and I have the DS in and the flat spot on the top is at about the 1 o'clock position, and on the PS, I have to check it out, but I think it is off a bit more than that. How important is it to have these flat spots on the top and bottom? Should I take them out and try again? They seem to be seated properly and conceptually I don't see how it would matter.

Thanks!

I asked the same thing back then.;) It does not matter as long as you can get in. It is usually the case that you won't be able to insert the birf without aligning the flat spot on 6-12 o'clock position. Just make sure the birf is in and you are good.

in is in and out is out, where it ends up doesnt matter at all. Its only notched for insertion and removal ease.

That's what I thought, it went in fine. Thanks!
